Phillips Lake North: Indian Rock Trail
Easy hike, 4.18 km round trip. Beautiful views. Take OR 7 from Baker towards Sumpter. Turn right on NFD Rd 2225. Turn is immediately before the Union Creek Campground. Proceed about 0.3 miles. The sign on the tree is missing. Trail is on the right and angles back. There are turn-outs for parking.
Phillips Lake Shoreline South
The south shoreline. 10.68 km one way. Take Hwy 7 out of Baker City towards Sumpter. Turn left on Forest Rd. 2220 (immediately before the dam).
